One World Academy's first ever 'A New Beginning seminar' in Germany was jointly organized by Mr. Bernhard Ujcic and his team at Starnberg, near Munich from the 6th to 8th May 2011.
With the spring season at its peak, the picturesque Bavarian landscape was at its very best, providing the most ideal setting for an inward journey into discovering love and connectedness. Senior Faculty, Ananda Giri along with OWA Faculties Krishnaraj & Yuktesh guided the group of about 30 participants from Germany, Austria and Switzerland through deep processes of self-awareness and connecting with the Presence or the Higher Intelligence in them. The two German translators did a fantastic job by translating so effortlessly the subtle teachings of OWA to the group that was mostly German speaking.
Sincerity in participation, intelligent questions and the extremely friendly nature of the participants added so much value to the whole process and by the third day, the group of 30 was virtually a family characterized by so much joy, friendship and sharing. Incidentally, the 3rd day of the seminar coincided with Mother's Day. Ananda Giri commenced the session with a very soul-stirring meditation wherein participants connected with their mothers and expressed deep gratitude to them in their hearts. The seminar concluded with sharing the Gift of Presence among the participants. One could almost touch a very loving presence and a wave of calm and connectedness in the room as participants were deeply involved in this sacred process. Deeply moved by the simplicity of OWA's vision and inspired to share their joy with people, many of the participants have resolved to organize similar events in their own countries/cities in the near future.
OWA offers heartfelt thanks to Mr. Bernhard Ujcic and family, Mr. Rainer Nitzsche, the translators and all the participants who made this wonderful experience possible in Germany. We look forward to being with all our German friends again very soon!
