ZERO distance to happiness and abundance
2 day seminar organized by iReborn Spiritual Education Institution - Taipei
iReborn SEI organized a 2 day seminar ‘zero distance to happiness and abundance’ in Taipei on Aug 6th and Aug 7th, 2011. The objective of the seminar was to help the participants learn to move to a place of joy and peace by practising the art of awareness. IReborn invited spiritual teachers and world renowned speakers for this seminar.
On Aug 4th noon, the program was officially launched by iReborn by introducing the teachers (Marci Shimoff, Ananda Giri and Tammy Lai) in the press meet. The journalists put forth questions regarding the seminar and the insights they would learn from this seminar. The same day evening, a group of 50 participants gathered at iReborn centre to participate in a meditation and Q & A session with the teachers.
The event commenced with DuLin Ho, Founder, iReborn introducing the programs followed by cultural events performed by children and artists. Around 450 students participated in this seminar. Marci Shimoff, keynote speaker and author of the ‘chicken Soup for the soul’ series addressed the participants in the first part of the day 1 of the seminar. She shared the various learning she had in her life which lead her to authoring the book - ‘happy for no reason and love for no reason’. In the later part of Day 1, Tammy Lai, a spiritual teacher and partner and co-founder - iReborn guided the students through a meditation followed by celebrations, ‘Deeksha, Dance and Party’.
Day 2 of the seminar commenced, once again with culturals and introducing Ananda Giri to the students. Ananda Giri ji spoke on ‘A NEW BEGINNING’ - art of awareness and joy. He shared with the participants the 3 primary insights taught by OWA. He guided them through the learning of interconnectedness and a process and meditation on interconnectedness. After the lunch session, students learned the art of self acceptance and healing their relationship with themselves. The next session students were guided through the process of healing their relationship with their parents. The translator, Tammy did a fabulous job of translating the teachings of OWA into Chinese.
The closing session of the seminar featured a series of cultural events like a Dervish dance, an Indian dance and aboriginal songs and culminated with thanks giving. On 9th Aug, a small group of participants had gathered at iReborn centre to share their experience of awareness. It was a very deeply moving experience to hear them share their profound stories of transformation and awareness.
OWA expresses deep gratitude and love to Du Lin Ho, Tammy Lai, Bob Hsieh and the entire team at iReborn for their service and dedication to bringing about a shift in the lives of the people of Taiwan.
