Along with developing the intellect of a child, a heart centered education to develop him/her into a loving, courageous and happy individual is very essential. Every child's hidden potential needs to be discovered, nurtured and, when best to do it other than during the early days of his/her life. we at the academy are passionate about creating a shift in the young minds, help them create a beautiful emotional state so that the light of love and creativity can shine through them. HEART CENTERED EDUCATION which is our focus for students caught the attention and appreciation of many like minded individuals, one major project has been formed to take this forward to students and their families by OWA and LIONS organization.
Lions District 324 B2 is A DISTRICT ORGANIZATION OF LIONS CLUBS INTERNA-TIONAL, a world wide service organization. This Lions District has spread over Erode, Salem, Namakkal, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri and part of Thirupur districts of Tamil Nadu. More than 6500 Lions in these districts are doing humanitarian services like Conducting Eye Camps, Collecting Eye donations, Helping poor students to continue their Higher Studies, Nurturing Nature, and Building Confidence in youth by imparting VALUE BASED PROGRAM FOR THE YOUNG.The present Governor of the district Sri.Shanmugamji desired to come up with a project that can help school children improve and change the quality of their lives, help them face their challenges ahead, build their self confidence, and more importantly was in search of reformer teachers who could guide the youth about emotional and holistic development. The governor and his team expressed their immense satisfaction when they attended one of our 2 hour sessions called "Creating Excellence" which intensely focuses on the emotional and spiritual development of young minds. Looking forward for a one day program from OWA for students, parents and teachers they held meetings where they gathered the wishes and support of several more lion members, and on September 5th while people across the globe celebrated teacher's day One World Academy and Lions launched A New Beginning for 1200 students of Velaallar Education Institution, their parents, and teachers at Erode. OWA would continue to conduct programs every month for 100 more schools of these districts.
