One World Academy believes Total education is the solution to many of the problems that plague our society today such as inequality, poverty, exploitation, unhappiness and meaninglessness. Total education nurtures not only the intellect, but also the body, the emotion and consciousness.
In this process of education we see the coming together of three forces - the student, the parent and the educator or the teacher.
Recognizing this passion of the OWA foundation, LIONS club international has come together with us in a mission to reach out to more than 30,000 students in this Indian academic year, which would end in April. Some of these teenagers come from the Indian middle class community but most come from financially under privileged families whose parents earn less than $2 a day.
The OWA faculty have in the past few months been traveling more than 25,000 kilometers to these distant and remote regions of southern India and have conducted day long Programs for the students, and have also guided the parents and the teachers of these teenagers.
In the lives of most of these youth it has initiated a revolution in the way they experience, think and act. Many have dissolved their anger towards society and their parents and their dissatisfaction in life. They now have the faith that they can indeed live happily and that they can cross the cultural and class limitations into which they were born.

First and foremost I would like to thank One World Academy for conducting such a wonderful program for the students of our college.
We have conducted several programs in our college over the past 3 years and I am happy to say that this is the best program ever as it has successfully brought about a shift in the minds of our students. I read their feed back and I am very touched to see the remarkable changes in my students.
Many of them have realized the mistakes they have done so far; both in their personal and college life, and amazingly they are not guilty about those but they have resolved their conflict around the event and are able to love themselves.
The program has given many breakthroughs and a new chance to enrich their relationships with their parents and teachers. There is a visible love in the hearts of these children now.
I expect One World Academy to conduct this program every semester at least once in our college. We have 1200 students and only 350 have benefited so please do visit us again,

Our children have immensely benefited from the insights and processes offered by the program and it has brought about a three fold impact -in the minds of children, teaching staff and parents. Simply motivating students and counseling them was our earlier attempt. Now in addition deeply taking them into a journey of self reflection which is a flavor of your method of transforming minds is very interesting. I have come alive as a new human being with new feelings.
I am usually a sad person but had not realized till this event the cause of it and the effects it would have on my future. I am all the time comparing myself with my brother and hence sad. I have seen now that being sad is just a habit which i have unconsciously nourished and with my hurts with my brother completely gone from my heart, I feel much more happier now.
I could feel during the process that my own conclusions about others around me are troubling me - the liberation from this struggle is only sourced within me and not in others- this realization has given me a beautiful opening to live life happily, thanks to OWA

From a person who was heavily burdened with stress, fear of exams, I have now turned into a light and simple hearted person.
I used to scream in anger, be confused with goals and often yell at my closest relationships and I now find myself a focussed, loving and fearless.
I am able to love myself and my parents which was not a conscious experience earlier.

HOW A YOUNG PERSON LEARNS TO RELATE WITH HIS FRIENDS
I was very surprised to see that I am able to feel happy about my friend's progress. I now finally have a way to deal to with my conflicts- with my anger and jealousy as well. The lessons on frictional energy made a big difference to me, i am able to chose a different way to respond now in my friend circle. I thought that others are out there to exploit and take advantage of me - in the program I realized that if I am able to bring happiness to some one, what is more beautiful than that? The thought that they are exploiting me would make me feel angry -which precisely was my problem and now I believe I can be a part of the vision of creating a world where everyone is connected to every one and my success is every one's success; every one's happiness would sooner be my happiness.
