Welcome to OWA Foundation

Our Mission - Learning-growing-serving

Letter from Founders

Dear Friend,

We believe that every individual on the planet has equal rights to be happy. It is this belief that drives us and is at the core of our work at the OWA Foundation.
As we step into an unprecedented era of both opportunities and challenges, it is unfortunate that of the 1.2 billion adolescents in the world today, 9 out of 10 live in the developing countries. Millions of these children are victims everyday to poverty, drug abuse, sexual exploitations, ethnic wars and diseases.
And there are countless millions of children who are victims to a seemingly progressive society that is structured to breed competition, fear and violence. Their lives are wasted because they have not been taught to deal with their inner conflicts. An awareness of the sanctity of human life and the helplessness of these children who cannot speak or fight for themselves has helped us determine the focus of the OWA Foundation and the projects that we will undertake.
We are passionate about helping every young person unearth his or her hidden potential and live life to the fullest. We also intend to work with children from under privileged segments of society, providing sustenance and helping them fulfill their dreams. It is our firm belief and faith that in the midst of happy and compassionate youth will be born great leaders who will participate in creating a better today and tomorrow.
We also feel it is our responsibility to care for mother earth and we intend to do our part by initiating projects to green the planet and create greater environmental awareness among the youth.
We both believe that our path to fulfillment will lie in translating our passion into action. By consistently focusing and acting on our passion, we hope to create a happier world, where every person lives and acts in an awareness of the interconnectedness and dignity of life.

Krishnaji and Preethaji,
Founders, One World Academy

Who are we?

OWA foundation is a non-profit organization that seeks to unearth latent potential in the young and to better the way youth think and act and the way they learn and lead.

What is our purpose?

We intend to create a new generation of conscious, compassionate and happy youth leaders who would participate in creating a better today and a better tomorrow.

We intend to provide sustenance and security to children and youth from under-privileged segments of society and help them fulfill their life’s dreams.

We intend to care for mother earth by helping create greater environmental awareness among the young and by participating in greening the planet.

How we help the young?

Education is derived from the root word ‘educare’, which means to bring out what is already within.

OWA foundation believes, every child is gifted. However, certain naturally discover their gifts and create great destinies for themselves while the majority never do. The foundation is passionate about helping every young person unearth their hidden potential and live life to the fullest. For when we discover what we love to do, we further the interests of the planet as a whole; we are a living blessing.
